Our Mission
SAGES at UT strives to promote the representation, professional development, leadership, and success of women and underrepresented genders in STEM by fostering a cross-disciplinary community that (1) enhances opportunities for collaboration and growth, (2) increases exposure to a variety of careers, (3) provides opportunities for mentorship, (4) highlights and addresses relevant issues, and (5) encourages the younger generation's participation in STEM fields.
UNITE. EMPOWER. LEAD.
We strive to unite women and underrepresented genders in STEM both at UT and beyond, empowering them to be leaders while fostering a collaborative environment.

Faculty Council
SAGES at UT is interested in developing relationships with faculty on our campus. We have initiated our mentorship program and are always looking to have more faculty participate and get involved! We also are forming a council of faculty who are interested in long-term support of SAGES. If you are interested in any level of involvement with SAGES, please contact [email protected]
Mentorship
Starting Spring 2023, SAGES is partnering with STEM Muse. STEM Muse takes the former SAGES mentorship program and scales it. STEM Muse focuses on flexible one-on-one mentorship that creates opportunities for connection and community.
